This guide takes you from signup to your first AI-generated draft. The whole setup takes about two minutes, and you can skip any step and finish it later from your dashboard.
1. Create your account
Sign up with your email and a password (you can also add your name, organization, and role). Once registered, you're taken straight into setup.
2. Choose a plan
Before the wizard, you'll pick a plan. Every plan, including Free, requires a payment method on file. For the Free plan your card is saved but not charged; paid plans may start with a trial. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Settings → Billing. See Credits & Billing for the full breakdown.
3. Run the onboarding wizard
The wizard has four quick steps, shown down the left side:

Welcome: a short overview of what Lumina does.

Brand DNA: teach Lumina your voice. You can either:
- Analyze your website: paste your site URL and Lumina studies your existing content to detect your tone, topics, and style, or
- Set it up manually: describe your voice, list your topics, and add any words to avoid.
Either way you can refine this later. See Brand DNA.

Add a source: connect a content source (such as an RSS feed) that Lumina should monitor for relevant material. More in Sources.

All set: finish setup.
You can skip the Brand DNA and Source steps and complete them later from your dashboard, nothing is locked behind them.
4. Your first draft
When you finish the wizard, Lumina automatically starts your first pipeline run in the background, it reads your sources, finds material that aligns with your brand, and drafts an article. Head to your dashboard and watch it land in your Draft Queue.
5. Find your way around
Your dashboard is organized into these areas:
