The product
What does Mediastilo do?
It reads the sources you choose around the clock, drafts stories from them in your publication’s voice, and publishes to your site once your editor approves.
Who is it for?
News portals and public bodies, specialist and national publishers, agencies running several titles, and in-house communications teams.
Isn’t this just more AI slop?
No. Every draft starts from a real source, ties every fact to it, and leaves out what the sources do not say. Your editor approves every piece.
Which languages does it write in?
Croatian, English, German, Slovenian, Hungarian, Italian and French.
Sources
What can it read?
Websites with or without a feed, RSS feeds, and pages and documents you link to. Official sites, ministries, agencies, competitors and your own archive.
How often does it check?
Every 15 minutes. New items reach you within the quarter-hour they are published, not overnight.
What if a site changes its layout?
Mediastilo notices and repairs how it reads the site on its own. If it cannot, it tells you.
Drafts and AI
How does it learn our voice?
From what you have published and from every edit, approval and rejection. You can see everything it learned, and undo it.
Can a draft contain made-up facts?
Drafts only use what the sources say, and link every claim. Gaps are flagged, not filled. A person approves every story, because a source can still be wrong.
Do we have to label stories as AI-generated?
Under Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act, not when a person reviews the text and someone holds editorial responsibility for it. Whether your process meets that bar is for your editor and your lawyer to confirm. Our guide explains the rule.
Does our content train your models?
No. Your archive shapes your drafts only.
Publishing
Which sites can it publish to?
WordPress, Ghost, and any other system through a signed webhook.
Does anything go live without us?
No. Approved stories arrive in your site as drafts by default. You choose whether they go live, with which category, tags and time.
Can it schedule stories?
Yes. Pick a time when you approve and it is published then.
Pricing and billing
How is it priced?
Monthly packages, each with a number of credits. Credits are spent when Mediastilo writes; reading sources and analytics are included. Every price is on the pricing page.
Is a card needed to start?
Yes. Every package, including the smallest, starts with a card on file.
What happens if we run out of credits?
Nothing is charged automatically. Drafting pauses until your credits reset, or you buy a top-up.
Can a public body pay by invoice?
Yes. Newsroom and enterprise packages are invoiced.
Data and security
Where is our data?
The platform and its database run in Nuremberg, Germany. Every provider that touches your data is on the sub-processor page.
Can we sign a data processing agreement?
Yes. We sign one under GDPR Article 28 with any customer who asks, before you start.
How are our site credentials kept?
Encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, per brand, and never shown back in full.
Can we take everything with us if we leave?
Yes. Ask and we export everything you have.
