Can a draft still be wrong?

A source can be wrong, and a sentence can be read two ways. That is why every claim is linked and a person approves every story.

What if two sources disagree?

The draft goes with what the sources support and your editor sees both, linked, before approving.

Does it ever copy a source?

Only when you mark that source as word for word. Otherwise it writes a new story from what the sources report.
